Our October selections was "Mississippi Sissy" by Kevin Sessum which was well received. This book removed us from the actual involvement in the gay life style, as was so in "City of Night and "Dancer from the Dance" moving us into the background of a child and his views while growing up with an ingrained sense of being "different"
FOR OUR NOVEMBER 27TH MEETING;
We won 10 Free copies of "The Lady in Blue" from Simon and Schuster and look forward to reading and discussing this book. He also wrote "The Secret Supper". Should you need a copy of this book, please contact me.

We are a friendly bunch of guys,easy going and respect what you have to say about the book.Even if you did not like it!! We invite you all to come to our November 27th meeting which will take place 6 PM, at the 519 Church Street Community Centre.
Please verify the meeting room number with the reception. Should you require any further info. please e-mail us here or call me at 416-972-1277
Looking forward to seeing you there!!

A Gothic comedy of growing up gay in the American South Kevin Sessum's with his memoir has produced a masterpiece that outshines all other examples of the genre since Truman Capote's Other Voices, Other Rooms. It surely will endure as one of the preeminent accounts.
