Thank you to Gayle Knutson for suggesting we post this information to your forum.

- not your usual book club

Back for a second season, join Host Mary Walsh for Open Book the weekly half-hour series airing Sundays at 11 pm on CBC Television. Ardent, amicable, animated and audacious: in literature that’s alliteration, in life that’s Mary Walsh.

Each week Mary welcomes high-profile guests to take a journey through the pages of some of the world’s most compelling literature. Still the comedienne extraordinaire, Mary is the catalyst for a lively discussion between such guests as television/journalist Diana Swain, actor Wendy Crewson, columnist Heather Mallick, poet/novelist Sue Goyette, actor/playwright Greg Malone, author Spider Robinson and many others.

With Mary at the helm, the series is as informative, entertaining and unconventional as the novels being discussed. Open Book is a refreshing blend of intellect and humour never seen before on a book club show.
