Does anyone know if Stephen Franklin still lives and writes? He wrote the only honest-to-goodness utopian novel in English in Canada, entitled _Knowledge Park_ in 1972. It's not a very good work of fiction, being more a disguised general plan for a utopia of knowledge workers located in northern Canada. (Note: I am excluding the -MSS Found in a Strange Copper Cylinder_ as sci-fi, Atwood's dystopian novel, and Leona Gom's dystopia _The Y Chromosome_) |
