Hi! I have an improv group that has been peforming together for 2 years. We recently started dabbling with the idea of joining our two great loves...reading and improv. We are trying to put feelers out to see if any book groups in toronto or surronding areas (guelph, waterloo, barrie, etc) would be interested in having our group come perform an hour set based on the book or author you wish us to take on. We would of course read whatever novel you suggest ahead of time and basically give you an hour (or half hour) show. It would be like watching a new book written by the author of your choice...This idea was spawned , of course, from our own frustration of waiting for our favorite authors next book to come out...and our love of improv..Now you don't have to wait for the movie or mini-series that may never be made. As well, You get your own private viewing.Any suggestions or enquiries my e-mail is srbecca@hotmail.com...I'd love to get feedback on this subject as it is a new concept for my group...Many Thanks..I will check back on this board as well..
