I would like to spread the word about on of Toronto's best literary events - The Kama Reading Series.

Kama is a fundraiser for World Literacy of Canada. It's also a fantastic five-part reading series featuring brilliant local and international writers.

Kama runs from January to May 2000 and is held at the Royal Ontario Musuem. Authors this year include Michael Ondaatje, Barbara Gowdy, Alistair MacLeod and Jane Jacobs. Tickets also include gourmet hors d'oeuvres, wine, Q & A and book signings.

I help to organize this event and would love any suggestions on how/where to publicise. WLC has no advertising budget and relies heavily on word of mouth and the kindness of donors.

If you would like more information or have any ideas, please call me at (416) 977-0008. WLC also has a website which you can visit at .

Thanks. Happy Reading.
