This is Book#1 of 3. Its the scope of this story that is so great! Then the Halifax explosion happened, and the whole family was killed, except a different daughter, who was blinded. The young doctor ended up marrying the blind sister he didn't love, we think. Do any of you have a clue what the name of this book is or who the author might be? It is driving us crazy that we don't know!</p> <p>Thanks in advance for any leads..... </p>
