    Hello:

If you check our bookclub called A Novel Approach, you will see quite a listing of books read and rated. It is that time again that our members choose new books for the 2007/2008 year and I am looking for some suggestions:

I wish to move away from depressive and/or suicidal type of books and go to a really good story that is not dark and sad and deary.

Anyone have suggestions, and perhaps tell me a wee bit about it, so I have an idea of topic. Thanks

  2. Hello Paula

I read your post concerning book ideas and I have a suggestion that would hopefully meet your criteria.

I've written a novel titled Vinland: The Beginning (it's set in L'Anse aux Meadows at the end of the first millenium). You can read about it on my web site, as well as read a review and also view some newspaper articles.

I give discounts to book clubs (5+ copies) and my postal rate is only $3.00/copy anywhere in Canada.

    Thank you

  3. Hello Paula,
Try my novel, Stealing Nasreen. Have a look at the "reviews" section of this website to find out more! Serious, but funny. Definitely not dreary.
