The Page Turners

We are The Page Turners, a book club in South River/Sundridge, ON that just finished celebrating our 1 year anniversary. We marked with a road trip to a Chapters Bookstore in Barrie. Our club started in January of 2002 with 4 people.

Our club now consists of 10 members that meet on the last Monday night of the month except during our summer hiatus of June, July and August. We take turns hosting our meetings and the person who hosts also selects the book of the month. We have a monthly newsletter which lists the current month's book, along with recommended reading, suggested movies, recipe of the month, announcements, interesting facts etc. It also lists our previous book selections. The purpose of our club is to enjoy a good read with others, discussion and friendly banter in addition to having a night out once a month!
