The Ottawa Twisted Sisters Book Club (started in 2004) has changed its format for 2009. We now meet on the last Saturday of the month at the Alta Vista Public Library from 1pm-3pm and discuss books according to themes. We continue to have special socials, like the annual May outing, annual October author guest speaker and annual December Christmas party at a member's home. We currently have a dozen registered members, but more women are welcome to join our lively discussions as we do not always have 100% attendance. This informal book club has been a great format to develop new friendships; the membership live all over the Ottawa region.
Here is our program for 2009; the coordinator supplies suggested reading material to those members who might not read that particular genre of book.
