Good morning all: If you’re a Canadian theatre fan and want to go to the theatre where is all begins on page and on stage, then you should email and let the Blyth FEstival folks know you want to receive their 2009 performance information. I’ve heard that Michael Healey is writing a play that will premiered at Blyth in 2009 and if you were fan of “This Is Wonderland”, a CBC TV production a while back, you’ll know him…the always-going-crazy lawyer character.

    He’s a good playwright too.

As to books – I just heard Joseph Boyden read from his latest from the stage of the Blyth Festival last weekend….What a charming author. His “Three Day Road” and ” Through Black Spruce” are great reads for sure. Just finished the second one and look forward to his next work.

    And…

if you’re politically inclined and an arts supporter it’s certainly worth voting in this election. Every one counts!
